Hip Hop titan Nas, venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, and search engine giant Google, along with their investment partners; have invested in the Cape Town, South African based mobile gaming company, Carry1st. Carry1st has been achieving 96% monthly revenue growth, and the company indicated they will use their new infused capital to expand content and achieve more product growth.

Andreesen Horowitz is expanding their portfolio in emerging markets like Africa, India, China and Asia. They believe these markets are lucrative in media expansion and the VC firm looks to engage on the opportunities that is provided from them. -SB
