Tesla will be laying off 10% of their global workforce. Tesla has over 140,000 employees worldwide. Earlier in the month of April 2024. Tesla’s quarterly deliveries of automobiles fell way short from Wall Street estimates. The low auto deliveries were way over 8% from the previous year auto deliveries.
Tesla indicated they had abandoned their plans of producing their electric friendly starter cars (Model 2), basically in part because of the low revenue sales in the EV market. -SB
