Retail giant L.L. Bean is laying off a lot of their workers. The company indicated that the layoffs were the product of greater online shopping resources being attributed. The outdoor clothing and retail company had indicated that it was reducing its customer service staff. L.L. Bean stated they did not need as much staff and personnel working, in order to save money and also budget constraints.

L.L. Bean’s revenue annually is over $1.6 billion; with much of their revenue being generated from online sales. The last layoff round the company endured, was in 2020. dismissing over 200+ staffers.
