JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon believes the Federal Reserve Bank can still institute 6 to 7 rate hikes this year (2022). He indicated that the inflation rising can bring the hikes faster this year, allowing borrowing costs to increase significantly over time. He definitely believes it’s going to be more then 4 hikes, presented by The Fed for sure.

Mr. Dimon made this analysis during a conference call, after the JP Morgan post 4th quarter earning statistics were released on Friday, January 15, 2022. The Federal Reserve have been very bullish recently about the rebound of the economy, which has led them to reflect those monetary policies as also being bullish.
