Four states have fully regained the job loses that occurred during the pandemic. Texas, Idaho, Arizona, and Utah were the states that lost jobs but have now regained their jobs back. Most states have regained approximately 50% of their jobs from the pandemic, except Hawaii and Wyoming. Statistics released by Fitch rating agency.
The US Labor Dept job numbers from November 2021 indicated that recovery was immanent in the United States, but the Omicron variant may have shuttered that growth spurt. -SB
